Art is a truly global undertaking. Making friends by drawing

Japanese Art Exploration Camp of Times Education appeared in ICAE

As one of the important trips of the Japanese Art Exploration Camp of Times Education, ICAE International Children's Exhibition is not only a cultural exchange feast between excellent young people in China and Japan, but also a beneficial activity to promote Sino-Japanese folk friendship, and mutual understanding and mutual development among young people.

Mrs Yoko Abe, the mother of Shinzo Abe, Former Minister of State, senate members and other leaders attended the exhibition. Professor Li Gang from the Arts and Technology Center of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Ms Huang Danhong, Director of Social Education Department of Times Education Group, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

As "international communication emissaries", the children in the art camp displayed their excellent paintings in the exhibition to promote Chinese culture. They were full of pride and confidence.

Teenagers are the future and hope of a country. The exchange of teenagers between the two countries is of great importance to the future of Sino-Japanese relations. It is hoped that these small artists can learn about different living customs and cultures through painting, make friends by drawing and promote understanding, build mutual trust and develop friendship between Chinese and Japanese people in the name of art.

Experiencing Japan in different aspects

Asakusa Temple, as the first stop of cultural exploration of the art camp, is the oldest metropolitan temple in Tokyo as well as a typical representative of Japanese Edo culture. Walking in Asakusa Temple, the children refreshed their impression of Japan and got a deeper understanding of Japanese culture in Edo period.

Then, Professor Li Gang also shared methods to improve children's comprehensive artistic quality during the trip.

In the art class every night, under the guidance of Director Huang Danhong, the children record the journey of each day through writing, drawing and other forms, which not only served as retrospective summary and improved the ability of narration by drawing.

Animation Culture and Scientific Exploration

How to Explore the Museum Correctly

When it comes to museums, the first impression is that they are serious, quiet and even a little cold. However, in the Mitaka Ghibli Museum visited by the members of the art camp, it is a totally different scene.

The scenes and characters in the ACG World, such as Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, City of Sky, came into sight a three-dimensional form. They can be touched, photographed and integrated into the scene to become a part of the scene.

These classic animation movies created by Miyazaki Hayao, the "Father of Animation" in Japan, are not only popular with children, but also precious memories of parents. Both adults and children recalled the good memory.

The Star of Life·Earth Museum in Kanagawa County is another museum trip related to the theme of life on earth. The multi-dimensional exhibits such as ancient utensils, decorations, dinosaur fossils, and the evolution of the earth's natural state enable children to perceive the earth's migration and changes through concrete objects and experience the magic power of life.

Kamakura Enoshima, Estuary Lake of Mount Fuji

Sketching in the nature

Estuary Lake is the best place to watch Mount Fuji. The blue sky and white clouds, the green water and the mountains in the distance form a unique scene.

The natural scenery Mount Fuji, which was originally provided with a sense of hierarchy, was recorded by the children with brushes under the guidance of teachers. Even when facing the same scene, the children drew at different angles, creating different memories.

People also feel the quiet nature of Japan and Kamakura Enoshima. This island in Kanagawa Prefecture, which went through Edo period, Meiji period, Taisho period and Showa period, is also the shooting location of the Japanese animation Slamdunk. It is an island combining feelings, beliefs and daily life.

When the journey begins, there will be an end.

However, the memories left in your mind will continue this experience and will never fade.
